7th AugustJoss Whedon has confirmed that he will be helping to develop a live-action Marvel universe TV show for ABC, as well as returning as the director for the second Avengers film.
There are very few details regarding the show, however, is is expected to center around SHEILD and will most likely involve lesser known Marvel characters.
The second Avengers film has a tentative release date of 2015, with filming anticipated to begin early 2014.

28th JulyAccording to Deadline, Marvel appears to be exploring the option of bringing a live-action version of The Avengers to the Disney –owned ABC.
The series is projected to be set in the Marvel universe, however would most likely not include characters from the popular The Avengers film, but instead might explore characters from SHIELD or the Avengers Academy.
The show has been described as “a kernel of an idea,” with no real story developments actually taking place as of yet.

26th JulyABC Studios hit tv show Once Upon a Time has released that in addition to the characters of Mulan, Aurora, and Captain Hook, Sir Lancelot will also be making an appearance during the second season for at least two episodes.
Actor Sinqua Walls, who has had a reoccurring role as Boyd on MTV’s Teen Wolf, is anticipated to be portraying Lancelot.
The character has been described as a “gun for hire with nothing to loose,” who has been banished from the round table of King Arthur – separating him from his true love.
